Children are gift from God. We are commanded in the bible to love, nurture and teach them in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). While they are still young, innocent and pure-hearted. We were once a child…Remember the care-free spirit we had before?

 

Isn’t it great looking back and in our memory lane, we’ll find our most treasured childhood experiences. In the bible, a child was set as an example by Jesus Christ to His disciples as the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. We must humble ourselves as the little children does (Matthew 18:3-4).

 

The following are few reasons why we believe that Children’s Ministry is very important:

 

• Children’s Ministry was a priority for Jesus. The disciples didn’t think it should be, but Jesus did. He made time to minister to children.

 

• Children are the greatest mission field. Statistics show that 85% of people who come to Christ do so before the age of 18. We must invest our time and resources where we will see the biggest harvest.

 

• Children’s ministry can be a major growth engine for the church. When you reach children, you reach parents. We can have the greatest worship and messages, but if the children are not connecting, mom and dad won’t stick around for long.

 

• Children’s Ministry is not childcare. It is ministry at the most critical time in a person’s life. The early years are the most formative.

 

• Children are not the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. A healthy family is made up of grandparents, parents, and children. Involve them in the life of the entire church. Give them opportunities to lead worship, greet, pray, read Scripture, serve, and more.

 

Here in BBBC – the Lord’s Young Flock (LYF) ministry are guided to instill in their young mind and heart to love God above all. They taught to walk in the ways of the Lord and lead them to Jesus Christ in the early years. Children are trained up to Christian living, so as they grow old they will become a strong soldier of our Lord.

 

With His grace the ministry is flourishing for the past years till date. Kids are having their our own cantata,  Junior Worship Service, group of instrumentalist, yearly camp, prayer watch, seminars and many other form of fellowships. The ministry has indeed grows.

As you browse throughout this section of this website, you will see how BBBC LYF Kids had done their best in all these activities, how they had freely expressed themselves as God fearing and God believing children.
